After your 20 week scan is the best time to book your newborn photography session to ensure my availability.

The best time for a newborn shoot for your baby is before they are 14 days old. At this stage they are at their most sleepy and able to cuddle up into those curled up newborn positions. However if your baby is beyond this we can still do a newbon session, I will just modify the session to suit your baby. My style is natural and simple so I will always capture the gorgeousness of your baby, regardless of their age.

No problem! We can reschedule to the best time for you and your baby. I take a limited number of newborn bookings each month so that we can reschedule your newborn photography session if baby decides to arrive early or late.

My newborn photoshoots are typically 2-3 hours to allow plenty of time for feeding, changing and settling. I only do one newborn photoshoot per day so there's never any time pressure so don't worry if your baby takes time to settle.

Of course! I love to capture your growing family all together and always make a fuss of older children to make sure they feel special at what can be an unsettling time for them.

Mamas, I got you! I have a selection of gorgeous dresses in my client closet for you to wear. I have a selection of sizes and styles which are flattering post partum. I also have a gorgeous selection of outfits for your newborn and babies unto 12 months.

Before your newborn photoshoot I'll also send you my Styling Guide so that you can plan how to dress your whole family for your shoot. Putting thought and planning into styling your newborn photoshoot will make for wonderful images.

All you need is whatever you need to feed your baby. If you are breastfeeding and expressing, an extra bottle of expressed milk can help settle a fussy baby. Bring a pacifier if your baby takes one.

I completely understand. But just think for a moment how special it will be for your little baby as they grow up and see their parents in those images with them. They will see how tiny they once were all cuddled up in your hands and know they were loved from the very first moment. 

I will send you a prep guide before your photoshoot. But generally you just need to arrive at the studio! Have baby dressed in loose comfortable clothing. A white vest underneath is perfect.

I love to use parents hands during your newborn photoshoot to show just how teeny your little baby is. If you are wearing nail varnish then plase make sure it is not chipped. Softer colours work better, very strong colours can draw the focus away from your baby.

My newborn photoshoots are completely baby led and I love to make your session as natural and relaxed as possible so I'll work with your baby regardless of whether they're awake or sleepy. If your baby is super alert and interested then I'll focus on the gorgeous connection in a new family and I'll capture those fabulous newborn expressions. I have many years experience in photographing newborns both awake and asleep!

Your newborn photoshoot will take place in my lovely studio in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin which is all set up for babies and families.

Approximately 2 weeks after your newborn photoshoot you will be invited to a viewing session, either in person in my studio in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin or online depending on what suits. You can then choose whichever product suits you best from albums, print boxes, wall art and print collections.

The session fee is €125. Then you can choose from a gorgeous selection of wall art, albums, print boxes and prints with prices starting at €545.
